It alerts you when your phone is ringing. After downloading the "smart wristband app fitness" through Google play or the apple store the watch will sync to the right dat and time. The app will allow you to set your profile, set a workout goal, set an alarm and take a picture from your phone by pressing the sc...reen on the watch (good if your phone is on a tri-pod or selfie). There is also a remind feature, lost mode and you can switch the screen to read it vertically. The app allows you to check your progress for the day. The watch comes with a charger.
