There is a motion sensor on the outside of this light, when you walk into a dark bathroom and it senses you the light comes on a stays on for 2 minutes. The light then goes through a series of different colors. The toilet light has a bendable arm to fit different toilet bowls. The arm would be the part to keep clean and you use clea...ning solution and cloth to clean. I like this light, there is no need for me to turn on the light in the middle of the night to use the toilet it is plenty bright enough.
