I am very happy to own one of these digital thermometers by Chef Remi. I own other meat thermometers but I like the versatility of this one. I can use this for candy making and frying. My husband loves to smoke on his bbq and it is great to have a digital thermometer for him to check the meat. It has a long probe which makes it great for turkey or whole chickens. This is not for using during the cooking in the bbq or oven, it is to check your meat during the cooking process.... I hand wash this to make sure not to break the digital read out.
