This salad spinner by Ozeri is a nice spinner and works well. This is for washing your herbs and leafy greens before making your salads or cleaning your lettuce for other things like lettuce wraps and burgers. This is easy to work I put lettuce that I cleaned off with water inside the green basket put the green basket in the clear bowl put the white lid on top and pushed the green handle down this makes it spin around many times as it got slower I pushed the stop button and p...ushed the handle down again. It has a non slip bottom on the bowl so it isn't sliding around while trying to spin the lettuce. My lettuce only needed two spins to be how I wanted it. To clean this salad spinner I hand washed out the bowl and basket set out to dry. I just towel dried the white top as that is not supposed to get wet. The directions say if it does get water inside to tap it around to get most all the water out and to give it extra dry time. It also states you can put the bowl and colander in the dishwasher but I chose not to. To store this salad spinner you can push the green handle down and there is a lock button to keep it down.
