I love these lights by Qedertek they need 3 AA batteries to run. There is a remote with this set of lights and there is a battery already inside the remote.  There are 8 modes that this set of lights can do. There is a timer function on the remote, the timer stays on for 6 hours and comes on each day at the same time. I use this type of lights all over my home when decorating. The lights are safer to use in candle holders for my displays. There are 100 warm white lights on each copper strand that are dimmable. The copper wire makes it great to bend and mold into whatever shape you need. Battery operated lights are a must have for me when decorating. These lights are $10.99 and worth every penny.
